Deliveries to the UK are charged at £3.95. All deliveries to the rest of the world are charged at £7.95. Deliveries are charged by the order rather than the item this means you will only pay once for multiple items ordered at the same time. If your order totals over a set amount you will become eligible for “Free Delivery”
Orders over a set amount become eligible for free delivery. For orders in the UK orders over £100 are eligible for free delivery. For orders to the rest of the world orders over £200 are eligible for free delivery. The system automatically adjusts your basket at the end of the order.

Expected delivery times
Every order placed with Island Jewellers is dealt with as soon as payment is received. Orders are expected to be processed within 24 hours on weekdays. If an order is placed on a Friday we would expect that item to be processed on the Saturday, if however the order is after 2pm the order may not be processed until the Monday of the following week.
Deliveries will be sent signed for 2nd Class or Royal Mail Special Delivery depending on the value of the item. Deliveries can take up to 5 days although should be expected within 48 hours of confirmation. We will notify you of type of postage and expected delivery time as soon as the item is sent.
Items may be delayed for one of a few reasons. For details please see the “Engraving alterations and personalised items” and “Items Out of Stock” Sections below
Engraving, Alterations and Personalised items
If your item needs alteration in any way (Sizing, engraving, soldering etc etc) there may be a delay for your item. If your item falls into this category you will be notified by email of the expected postage date and delivery date. Once you have replied to the email your order will be processed. If you do not wish to continue with your order at this point and you notify us you will be refunded the cost of your order and postage.
Items Out of Stock
Island Jewellers operates from Sandown Jewellers on the Isle of Wight. Due to this on some occasions items will be sold in store before they can be reserved for your order. This is very rare but if this situation occurs you will be notified by email and given the option to wait until the item is in stock. We will let you know expected dates for delivery of the item. . If you do not wish to continue with your order at this point and you notify us you will be refunded the cost of your order and postage.
Cooling off Period
Our cooling off period is 14 days for orders made online. If at any point in the 14 days after you receive your order you are unhappy or change your mind about your order you may contact us and arrange for the item to be returned. During the cooling off period you have a duty of care to the item. If the item is damaged while in your possession you will not be offered a refund. Some items are not covered by the Cooling off period. Specifics on these items can be found in the “Body Jewellery” Section.
Any item that pierces the skin is not subject to the 14 day cooling off period. These items cannot be returned unless found to be faulty.
Cancelling Before Dispatch
If you choose to cancel your order before it is dispatched you will be charged the postage fee to cover costs. You will however be refunded the cost of the item. If you are eligible for free delivery we will deduct the cost of what delivery would have been and the balance will be returned to you.
If an item has been in some way personalised or altered from its original specification by us and you decide to cancel the order or return the order. You will be charged for returning it to its original condition. This charge will be deducted from your funds and the balance returned to you
Any item found to be faulty can be returned to us and we will replace the item at no charge to you. If the item is out of stock you will be given an option to wait for the item to be back in stock or you will be offered a full refund. Alternatively if you are no longer happy with the item you will be offered a full refund.
How to return an item
To return an item to us you will need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Explain the reason for your return. A full description of the item that you purchased and the item number from your invoice. If you do not have the original invoice please include your name and full address. We will then contact you with specific instructions of how to return your item and the type of postage required as this varies for the value of each item.
